The Atlas is a previous WDC bespoke internal door design featuring a bold geometric fretwork pattern applied over clear glass, creating a statement glazed door with strong architectural detail.

Designed as a made-to-measure fretwork internal door, the Atlas combines a painted outer door frame with decorative fretwork over the glazed centre panel. The symmetrical geometric design gives the door an Art Deco-inspired appearance, making it ideal for interiors where a standard glazed door would not provide enough visual impact.

Shown here in a black painted finish with clear glass and satin chrome inlay detail to the glass bead, the Atlas can also be produced in alternative painted finishes. A white painted version with satin brass inlay offers a softer, more decorative look, while keeping the same striking fretwork pattern.

This design is well suited to hallways, dining rooms, dressing rooms, home offices, living spaces and feature interior openings where light, privacy and decorative detail are all important. The clear glass allows natural light to pass through, while the fretwork adds structure, privacy and a strong bespoke design feature.

Each Atlas door is made to measure and quoted to order. The fretwork pattern, paint colour, glass type, inlay finish, thickness and overall sizing can be adapted around your opening, frames and project specification.

Available options may include clear glass, reeded glass, frosted glass, black painted finish, white painted finish, custom RAL colours, satin chrome inlay, satin brass inlay, matching frames, linings, architrave and project-specific sizing. Fire-rated options may also be possible depending on the final design, construction and required certification route.
